How do Petrol Pump Guys Cheat you and Rob your Money ?

(I am writing this post because I personally experienced this couple of times.

I could not resist myself to write this which could help lot of people to play safe.

Follow the tips and Share the post with maximum )

Are you a owner of a Four Wheeler, and do you get the fuel filled by trusting the fuel persons blindly and sitting inside the car ? Its time to tighten your shoe laces.

A big Fuel cheat / Short Fuelling is going across various fuel stations across nation, where the fuel filling person cheat people with tricky ways, and fill lesser fuel than what amount you pay, and unfortunately the customer gets no clue of it.

I personally have experienced that when you ask for a Rs. 1000 fuel, they fill for say Rs.600-700, distract you (by asking Vehicle number or taking something) and then they do something with meter and it shows Rs.1000. You're just filled for Rs.600-700 and the remaining 300-400 goes into their pockets. Imagine the daily number of customers getting faced with the same

Kiruba Shankar, a Chennai resident faced the same, but unlucky for the fuel station, he was not among those who could tolerate it and let it go. Thanks to Social media, he brought the issue on facebook and it went so viral with thousands of shares that even Times of India could not stop themselves covering it on their news.

Here's the video from Kiruba Shanker from the fuel station itself explaining how was he tried to be cheated by the Fuel station workers.

After all the drama, The concerned officials from Bharat Petroleum requested Kiruba to meet them personally. They explained all the steps taken against the station. Those fuel station workers were fired from work, finding them guilty after the investigation, and few tips were given to be safe against those cheating happening.

How to be Safe : Next time you get your vehicle Fueled, Make sure about the things below :

Most of the cheating is done with customers who come in four wheelers because the person in the car/SUV does not bother to either get out or look at the meter.

  • Come out of your vehicle and keep an eye on the Fuel meter from ZERO till the exact amount of what you want to get filled. Never get distracted to any foolish things or questions in between. Ask them to wait untill the filling is done.

Few of my friends told me, The petrol pump guy asked them "You're shirt looks nice, from where did you bought it, or they may ask your car number, as if they don't have eyes to peep on the number plate"

  • One traditional way of cheating is to start the fueling from the previous person's last reading. If the previous person did a Rs.100 fueling, and if a reset is not done, your fueling will start directly from 100, to  101 .. 102 and so on, so you'll be losing Rs.100 fuel. Always check ZERO on the fuel pump screen.

  • Another way these staff cheat is by pressing the 'preset' buttons for Rs.100, Rs.500 or Rs.1000. If you wanted fuel for Rs.500, half way through, they will press the preset button which will show Rs.500 in the display but only half the fuel would be filled. Ask for uneven numbers like Rs.535 or Rs.1385. It reduces the cheating level drastically.

Share the post and bring the awareness to save a lot of people getting cheated. Play safe and happy fueling.

Kejriwal becomes CM - Delhi Public to be Benefited Most ? NO

Interesting Indian Politics in Last 2 years :

India has seen a terrific ups and downs in the politics in last couple of years. One side where Congress has been ruling the country from last two terms, other side BJP under the name of Modi has been trying to establish his wave all around the nation, and very recently the entry of Kejriwal led AAP has brought them into limelight.

Delhi, The state which was on fire for last two years with lot and lot of burning issues say Common Wealth Games scams, Inflation, Corruption in MCD, Anna Hazare Lokpal bill andolan, Swami Ramdev andolan, Nirbhaya Gangrape, Formation of AAP which kept the state on the media all the time, and people badly needed a change.

Delhi public got an opportunity to release all their anger in the recently happened Vidhan Sabha elections and their anger completely fired congress who were 41 seats in last elections who ended up reducing to just 8. BJP under the leadership of Dr. Harshwardhan managed to get 32 seats, but the party who won the hearts of public was Aam Aadmi Party.

Evolution of Aam Aadmi Party and Kejriwal

Aam Aadmi Party shocked all the opinion and exit polls who gave them just single digit seats in their polls. It was confirmed that no government could form as it was a three way.

AAP initially denied to give or take support to any party, BJP clearly refused to do any give and take, and stepped back to form government, and hence congress came into action to support AAP.

AAP's Dilemma of Delhi

It was a big dilemma for Arvind Kejriwal, whether to take support from the same party against whom they fought the andolans, and who was known to be the most corrupt party. He decided to put the ball into public, distrubuted 25 Lakh letters to public, used social media and SMS , arranged physical rallies to know the mood of public.

Finally, on 28th December 2013, Arvind Kejriwal, with the support of congress from outside, formed the goverment and took the oath as the chief minister.

The Question is Who would be most benifited by Kejriwal being the chief minister ?

If you're answer is the Public of Delhi - I would answer it as NO.

Kejriwal went to public to ask if they should take support of congress or not, It was not at all necessary as far as I think because it was quite obvious people would love to get 50 % less electricity bills, 600 Litres free water, corruption free Delhi.

Public had voted them to bring them into government and to make them fulfill their promises, and why would public deny them to make government.

The one who would be benifited mostly would be 'Congress Party' . It may sound weird, but Yes.

Why Congress

The current situation of congress is, they themselves know that the Projection of Rahul Gandhi vs Narendra Modi for 2014 LS elections would be a pure fluke. The mass crowd at Modi's rallies and lack of crowds at Rahul Gandhi's rallies, The results of the 4 state vidhan sabha elections , all the things has made congress conclude that they need some strong thing or strong projection to reduce the Namo Wave across the nation.

Now, Kejriwal being the recent Hero's into the recent Indian Politics, Delhi youths and entire Media, has got an opportunity to finish all his promises.

Congress is indirectly projecting Kejriwal against Modi, supporting them from outside. If Kejriwal is able to carry his government very well in upcoming few months, it would be a definite headache for BJP as AAP is already planning to contest Loksabha elections.

It would cut the BJP votes all over the nation, and the youth who has been supporting Modi, AAP would try to pull them in favour of them and hence indirectly cut the BJP votes.

MODI has been a common competition for Congress and AAP, and there is nothing bad, to shake hands together to fight against a common competition. It is said that Dushman ka dushman dost hota hai

Hence, The Congress would be in most benefit now, as their strategy is to project Kejriwal against Modi, and enjoy the advantage of it in Loksabha elections 2014.

Loksabha 2014 elections and results would clear all the things, clear doubts and bring out all the queries. Till then wishing All the best to all three parties. Jai Hind.

Do share your comments and share the post if you like.

Sponsored Video: ASUS Fonepad powered by Intel

The thin line that was present between tablets and smartphones is decreasing with each passing day. Asus Fonepad is one such example as it is termed as a tablet which can make calls too. This model comes with a 7 inch screen and resolution of 1280 X 800 pixels. It works on 1.6 GHz Intel Atom dual-core processor and the camera quality is also very impressive.

Design

It is made up of all plastic and in the front you also have dual speaker. The display is surrounded by black bezel and there is no physical button on it too due to the Jelly beans onscreen navigation keys. You will find two colors in the market – white and black and weighing around 328 g. The volume keys and the microSD card slot are at the side of the phone and it doesn’t come with any cover.

Camera

Asus Fonepad comes with 5MP autofocus camera at the back which clicks images up to 2592 X 1944 pixel resolutions. The video is able to record 1080p videos at 30 fps. It does not perform very well in low light conditions. If you want to take photo of yourself then you can do it with front camera which is 1.2 MP.

Software

The Fonepad runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Beans, has 5 customizable homescreens and has 6 apps shortcuts with 4 onscreen controls. In order to extend the battery life it provides a power saver mode as well.

Battery and Performance

You will find 1GB of RAM and 16 GB inbuilt storage facility in here which can be extended up to 32 GB. The touch sensor is really good and the battery worked all day without charging as it comes with 3950 mAh battery. Even after extensive use you would be left with about 25% of power at the end of the day.
To sum up the Asus Fonepad’s performance, it can be said that at the price of INR 17,499 it is performing very well and all the features that comes with this Fonepad performs really well enhancing the quality of the Fonepad. It comes with goo display, excellent call clarity, battery backup is impressive and the camera’s performance is pretty good. Te only drawback that can be thought of is the plastic buildup and underwhelming speakers.

Enjoy the Asus Fonepad in the video below :

Sachin Tendulkar Retirement Speech [Text and Video]

Finally, the moment which people didn't want ever to happen, happened, when Sachin Tendulkar finally played off his final match, and then waving off his cricketing career. The entire nation along with each and every crowd at the wankhede had tearful eyes.

Sachin Tendulkar, at the presentation, gave a very emotional retirement speech, where he remembered each and every person who were behind the success of the man, and that speech couldn't stop his wife cry too.

Here is the Video and Text version of the Sachin Tendulkar Retirement Speech. Make sure you have enough tissues near you , before hearing it ! Good bye Sachin.

Video of Sachin Retirement Speech

Text Version of Sachin Retirement Speech

"Friends please settle down, I'll get more emotional! It's hard to believe my wonderful journey is coming to an end. I've a list of names to thank.

The first is my father, who passed away in 1999. Without his guidance I wouldn't be standing in front of you. he said 'chase your dreams, don't give up, the path will be difficult.' I miss him today.
My mom, I don't know how she managed a naughty child like me. She just prayed and prayed from the day I started playing the game. For four years I stayed with my uncle and aunt when in school, they treated me like their own son.
My eldest brother Nitin doesn't like to talk ,much but he said, whatever you do, I know you will give 100%. My first cricket bat was presented to me by my sister Savita. She still continues to fast while I bat. Ajit my brother - We have lived this dream together, he sacrificed his career for me, he took me to Achrekar sir first. Even last night he called me to discuss my dismissal. Even when I'm not playing we will still be discussing technique. If that hadn't happened, I would have been a lesser cricketer.

"The most beautiful thing happened to me when I met Anjali in 1990. I know that being a doctor there was a big career in front of her. But she decides that I should continue playing and she took care of the children. Thanks for bearing with me for all the nonsense I've said (Anjali wipes tears). Then the two precious diamonds of my life Sara and Arjun. I've missed out on several birthdays, holidays. I know for 14-16 years I've not spent enough time with you. But I promise you I will spend the next 16.

"My inlaws - I've discussed several things with them. The most important thing they did was allow me to marry Anjali. In the last 24 years my friends have made terrific contributions. They have been with me while I was stressed. They have been with me even at 3am when I was injured. Thanks for being there for me.
"My career started when I was 11. I was extremely delighted to see Achrekar sir in the stands. I used to ride on his scooter and play two matches a day. Sir took me along to make sure I played. On a lighter note, Sir never said 'well played' because he didn't want me to be complacent. You can push your luck now, Sir, since I'm not playing cricker anymore.
"I started my career here in Mumbai. I remember landing from NZ at 4am and playing a Ranji game the next day. The BCCI was fantastic from my debut. Thanks to the selectors. You were right with me making sure my treatment was taken care of.
"Thanks to all the senior cricketers who have played with me. We see on the screen Rahul, VVS, Sourav, Anil who is not here. All the coaches. I know when MS presented the 200th Test cap, I had a message to the team - I said we are all so proud to be representing the nation. I hope to continue to serve the nation with dignity. I have full faith that you will serve the country in the right spirit.
I will be failing in my duty if I didn't thank the doctors who have kept me fit. Given the injuries I have suffered. They have treated me in odd hours.
My dear friend the late Mark Mascarenhas. I miss him. My current management team WSG, for continuing what Mark has done. Someone who has worked closely with me for 14 years is my friend Vinod Nayudu.
"The media has backed me a lot, since my school days. Even today. Thank you. Thanks to the photographers for capturing those moments.
"I know my speech has become long. I want to thank people who have flown in from different parts of the world. I want to thank my fans from the bottom of my heart. "Sachin, Sachin" will reverberate in my ears till I stop breathing." (Followed by loud cheers).
The crowd wants more. Sachin has handed back the mic. We haven't seen the last of him here surely
